nowBuzz up!Augusta, Georgia -- The Center provides childcare, faith based education, and bible studies. The center also mentors and tutors drop outs and homeless children.

Dr. Franklyn Beckles says the center offers an education that can't be found in public schools.

Rev. Dr. Franklyn Beckles, Jr.-"What we trying to do is take up the slack of what the public schools are not doing. And we're educating youth and giving them a positive message to them and that's by putting God in education. We're not allow to do that in public schools, but we can do that here. We wanting people to get involve to come and check us out to donate, their time, and effort. We'll take anything."

This is the third location for the Children's Christian Center. the other two are located on Boyscout Road and Old McDuffie Road in Augusta. If you'd like more information on how to donate or become apart of the center, call 706-533-7128.
